Gana: Transportation Design Weblog
One of my best friends, Gana Meissner, now has a site as well. Gana is a student for transportation design at the Pasadena Art Center College of Design, and he also works at Volkswagen's Concept Design Center in California.
His site -- which is a weblog of sorts -- features interesting design concepts, lots of pictures, and explanations on how design is approached. I should mention that all the material on the site is his own work (incl. the car model shown in the picture here in the upper left corner). Gana is 23 years of age, by the way, so this makes the quality of these showcases even more amazing.
We worked together on the site to have something that caters to Gana's needs, something like Info Feed, just for design: Based on his layout graphics, I did the HTML and CSS coding, the Movable Type implementation (which works with a few twists), and I host the site. I am not a professional web designer, but I'm pretty proud of what we got there. Anyway, my part is done -- now Gana is filling up the site with his amazing designs.
I highly recommend regularly visiting this site at Gana.de. There is a newsletter and an RSS feed as well, of course.
